The Advertising Federation of Australia is a professional association representing companies in advertising and marketing communications to industry, government, media and the public.
The AFA has a national structure with committees in all mainland states. A Sydney-based secretariat strives to fulfil the three strategic pillars of AFA work in Effectiveness, Ethics and Education.
The National Board creates policy and direction while the National Chairman represents the AFA in the media and in representations to government and industry. The National Board consists of the Chairman and three other National Directors, and representatives from each of the mainland states. The Executive Director also sits on the National Board.
